Amy L. TaylorAmy Taylor has extensive business and legal experience that she utilizes to advocate for individuals who are injured in motor vehicle collisions.  Amy has many years of experience handling Plaintiffs’ claims in the state and federal courts of Maryland.  She is focused on handling settlement negotiations with insurance companies and preparing claims for litigation.

Amy received her Bachelor of Science degree from the acclaimed School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.  Following graduation from Cornell University, she was recruited by Wyndham Hotels & Resorts where she worked for eight years in Sales and Marketing and Business Development.  She also worked for Hyatt Hotels & Resorts before deciding to pursue her passion for legal advocacy.

After graduating from the University of Baltimore School of Law, Amy returned to the Eastern Shore to serve as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Daniel M. Long Administrative Judge for the First Judicial Circuit in Maryland and Circuit Court Judge for Somerset County, Maryland.

Upon completion of her judicial clerkship, Amy worked as an associate attorney for Otway Russo, P.C. and Hearne & Bailey, P.A. for 12 years handling complex civil litigation including pre-litigation, written discovery, depositions, and jury trials.  Her main practice areas included personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, employment, and contract disputes.

Amy shares the law firm’s commitment to our local community through her continued involvement in the Village of Hope and Little League Maryland District 8.  The Village of Hope provides a transitional living program and home for at-risk women and children in Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties.  And Little League Maryland District 8 (Wicomico, Worcester, and Somerset Counties) believes in the power of youth baseball and softball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities.

Ms. Taylor grew up in Salisbury. She has two children who are active in school athletics and East Coast Royals baseball. They enjoy spending time with family at the beach in Bethany Beach, Delaware.
